Personal Hygiene Products
There are a wide range of personal hygiene products that help people continue to feel, smell and look their best. Products such as toothpastes, shampoos, shower gels and deodorants are the essentials on any weekly shopping list. Toothpaste may well be considered the most important product of all. Modern day toothpaste offers teeth stronger protection, they are designed to remove the harmful plaque, which prevents tooth decay from damaging teeth. Deodorants allow people to continue to smell fresh and feel clean even throughout the hottest days in summer. There are two different types of deodorant, conventional and antiperspirant. In the early 1960s antiperspirants became popular in the form of an easy to use aerosol spray. Aerosol sprays were popular because they let user dispense a spray without coming into contact with the under arm area. The aerosol accounts for 82% of all deodorant that are sold. Shampoo is also regarded as an essential for modern grooming. Modern shampoo gently cleans the hair leaving it soft and shiny. There are medicated shampoo's for the treatment of dandruff and other minor scalp complaints, and shampoos that provide a hint of colour to help maintain the original colour. Shower gels are gently foaming soaps which are very mild and P. H. neutral. This enables them to be used as frequently as required.
